RECKONING WITH THE NATIONAL IDEA

                                                  Recently, u must have witnessed the incidents @ JNU & Jadavpur rocking through arnab's debate show and reverbating in our ears.

 well here i just want to write how a common Indian would perceive all these happenings. for a common mayn't have tym to get into hefty discussions or even read the confusing indepth veiws of experts.

for starters it came as a shock for me to hear that Afzal guru's hanging is a judicial killing. He continues to be a matyr to the self-proclaimed oppressed people of kashmir, but since when he crept his roots into indian mainstream education as a classic example of judicial murder. I was angry so were most but without knowledge of the events which led to such vociferous protests - I AM CONFUSED.

lets put Kashmir where it is for today, there were Anti-India and Tear-apart India protests too. So, now when we know those events- lets ask some basic questions: 

• HOW MUCH Z THERE A LIMIT FOR PROTESTS AGAINST STATE?
• IN WHICH FORM SHOULD PROTESTS BE ALLOWED TO QUESTION REPRESSION BY STATE/GOVT.?
• ARE THERE ENOUGH PLATFORMS TO DISCUSS AND COUNTER-INFORM INTRESTED CITIZENS ON CRITICAL NATIONAL ISSUES LIKE KASHMIR-SECESSIONIST MOVEMENTS, AFSPA IN MANIPUR AND NAXAL MOVEMENTS?
• IS THERE ANY EFFORT TO COLLECTIVELY COUNTER INTERNATIONAL PROPAGANDA (MAINLY BY PAKISTAN AND SOME NGO'S) BY EXPLOITING OUR CIVIL SOCIETY BASED ON OUR DEMOGRAPHY AND HISTORICAL BLUNDERS OF OUR SOCIETY?

now, u must be feeling why should ever these be discussed - well they ought to be discussed.

we don't read our freedom struggle, islamic invasion and inter-ruler fights in our history books for grades. well for majority it may be grades but for some it is keeping alive the knowledge of our ancestors to help never fall into same traps again. isn't it ?

now, what helps secessionists is their knowledge of their- struggle, oppressed moments of history, religious ideology, perpetual dreams and underestimation of their daily lives in the system.. what helps them more is their ability to sucessfully implant these in ever-spicy tales into infant brains thus keeping their struggle perpetual.

here's our mistake- every new generation of Indian education forgets more the idea behind the struggle for freedom and collective identity. Mind my words - i calling myself INDIAN will increase over the years BUT we have to make sure the minds also know WHY! and THE IDEA'S NEED!

here comes the story of JNU & JADAVPUR- umar khalid and kanhaiya & Left moralists are not wrong in saying There's some problem in Kashmir! Why was Afzal created and why is Indian state helpless in winning over people of its own land !

But I  question the Indian Education System and Indian Society - why couldn't u implant in their minds :

• Limits of protests, slogans & left-ideology views (which certainly shows tht they are Indians in all their rights but they must be lacking the IDEA behind India)
• secondly, why couldn't our Intellectuals actually discuss the issues with anger rather than beat the chest with symbolism of my nation- my nation has symbols for representation but certainly it can be deescribed from vedas to tommorw's papers with relentless history and happenings to justify its strength
• why is the media acting in a weird way of not clearing the doughts of citizens rather rain on individuals (Media must know that established Facts can be presented by it with all might i.e justification of afzal trial , the demoralizing effect of anti-India slogans, limit of ideologies in national policies, problems facing Kashmir and what can an ordinary Indian do to win over kashmiris, exploitation of DALITS to create A permanent DALIT samaj by NGO'S)

nationalism has a lot of content which has been discussed and cleared beyond any dought in some point of tym- there's need to create a holybook / factbook of nationalism so that future generations must discuss to find the essense or the truth behind collectiveness and its need. Rather than Discuss to Rewrite a Known Truth.

         BHARAT was dreamed for many reasons and its birth has accomplised those - 

                               only remains is the need to learn those reasons like we learn Gita 

    THERE'S NOTHING WISE IN REINVENTING THE WHEEL-BETTER TEACH IT FOREVER!
