I write this with a specific context- For 3 days the sewage line in saket, delhi was choked. A small regular problem and awful smell with a road flooded with human awe's of morning. There were 3 men from Delhi sewage workers I presume, who were working tirelessly in an effort for 3 days to clear the line. This is about them, their conditions of work and their social nature. Whatever I have seen one among them got into the sewage point in a underwear huffing and puffing barely keeping the drain water below mouth & doing his stuff in there for half an hour or so. Do u imagine barebody man in a 50 cm dia manhole with all the stinks of 100+ families flowing in!!!
