THE AFTERMATH!

In a very unnoticed manner , the recent anti-india or better anti-state protests @ jnu and jadavpur by laal-salaam\red-salute left leaning students has brought in an environment of commoness in diversity & displayed the broadly acceptable REDLINES surrounding FREE-SPEECH. This my friends should be used to our best benefit to cross-check the secessionists.
Let's ask why  Kashmiri valley is so unsatisfied with calling themselves Indian #with proudness! The reason lies in both history and present:
  • During Independence, for Muslims of India were more confused than others about future in India and rightly so. The national movement may lie in mind for most but religion is captured in almost all aspects of human life affecting all moments & the creation of Pak-stan with whispers of Islamic Land of protection created the best confusion one could create in Indian society. Kashmiris being mostly Muslims had always substantially confused and diverse views of its future.
  • The celebration of Kashmir's traditions in Pakistan, discussions of its future & unasked commitments by paki leaders just made it more convenient for Kashmiris to hear and learn of them rather the India which had many other parts to take care too.
  • Army's operations killed terrorists for sure but for heaven's sake - which parent would describe son terrorist when he himself is confused of national identity.
  • Atrocities , angry lathicharge, kill to control, rapes, regular checking, authoritative dealing, snooping, random pickups, aggressive bribing\threatening for 2 decades just made the worse - WORST.
So returning to point where we started - how do jnu anti-national displays helped!!!
Some say it emboldens the separatists BUT TO SPEAK THAT:
  • Indian state also regulates the other states like Odisha, chattisgarh(for naxal), north-east for separatists, Punjab (for Sikhs), etc.
  • Regulates student voices, free speech: the country offers no right to individual freedom, etc
  • Kashmir is understood even by Indian people who recognize their problems
  • Even Hindu, Christian Indians know their pain and betrayal

Isn't this what they shall say! But this helps:-
We all have seen the outrage: the outrage in which Indians red flagged their own tongue's limit, Arnab's rant on alok of JDU, professors of universities, kanhaiya and other students of Jnu. Probably thts something they will not digest ever.
Outrage of Twitter trolls which pooh-poohed free speech and hailed the state of its pride.
Point is this will help end the notions of oppression in Kashmiri separitists and others for whom asking for freedom and India's ruin has got religious. It will make clear that an Odia\bihari\maratha is as much bound by India's laws and constitution as the Kashmiris. That national consciousness is not imposed by polits in India but stamped by ordinary citizens.
It also makes clear that Indians have asked to solve Kashmir for their betterment and unity of Kashmiris and Indians just don't want anything like superposition of authority.
It creates an awareness among Indians that Kashmir issue has to be understood by civilians and dealt with at levels of people to people talk.
Most importantly, Hindus and Muslims showed again that Bharat has lied above Allah and RAM.
So guys it should have helped us unknowingly. So lets hope for strict punishment to those but also keep our smiles on and hope for more opportunity to know whoz discontent with India.
SARWATRA EK RAHENGE, SARWATHA SATYA KAHENGE!
In my future article, I hope to write of Kashmir, it's problems, associations, and what Indian people can do to win over most KASHMIRIS!!!

RECKONING WITH THE NATIONAL IDEA

Recently, u must have witnessed the incidents @ JNU & Jadavpur rocking through arnab's debate show and reverbating in our ears.  well here i just want to write how a common Indian would perceive all these happenings. for a common mayn't have tym to get into hefty discussions or even read the confusing indepth veiws of experts. for starters it came as a shock for me to hear that Afzal guru's hanging is a judicial killing. He continues to be a matyr to the self-proclaimed oppressed people of kashmir, but since when he crept his roots into indian mainstream education as a classic example of judicial murder. I was angry so were most but without knowledge of the events which led to such vociferous protests - I AM CONFUSED. lets put Kashmir where it is for today, there were Anti-India and Tear-apart...

Namaste!
