Quality Education with Diversification

Read the scriptures
but don't let them set ur rules unreasonably..
Read the History
but let not it colour u with tempts and contempts..
Read the novels
but never lead urself to hollowness & beyond suprises..
Read the Science
but keep ur own imagination free & thinking natural..
Read the literature
but know that social behaviour is practical not theory...
finally read ur way out
but know that there r much more verbs u can do..

awkward start!  not really...

we have started our lives reading . m talking of the verb "read" - Read has become the single most powerful tool of education, knowledge propagation and entertainment.
"READ"- essentially an action which uses eyes to capture images, decode and interpret into thoughts.
a child starts his/her utility in life by learning A OR अ. - reads language...
While this be so probably in Indian education system - the means to learn from sound, smell, taste, touch in an academic education is negligible. Knowledge is a collaborate affair - it has one truth many faces - it belies many life experiences but with many feelings. While we concentrate on only one virtue of sense to impart knowledge we handicap our abilities to think and feel through that specific sense.
Like for example:- we express our love these days by saying "I LOVE YOU" i became curious is love the discovery of 20th century made a craze by our new found liberty to express in society.  Guess what :- there have been societies in India ancient and medieval, free to express whatever they wished. But how did they express LOVE- dancing as they wished, singing with facial-expressions, artwork, talking their way into the vulnerabilities of emotion, domination physically, specific touches. Shouldn't sound odd but are we not ignorant that such specific standards and ways of expressing love has been present all over world since human birth.
Likewise, our education focuses on expressing our ideas on paper maybe therfore we find more academically students rolling out of schools rather than sportspersons, musicians, artists, soldiers, politicians or leaders, farmers, bussinessmen, etc . The varied and various professions, our world rotates around has found no talent of our schools.
If a child is good in physical abilities he must not be guided i to a sense that reading books is better than what he excels at. That's perfectly in sync with our current thinking - u are better if u score good in ur exams which are 200% written exams in our schools. Indians, We betray our knowledge in doing so.
I imagine a better future if we teach parallel ways of learning in svhool.I suggest, whynot a child is graded according to his /her performance in following abilities:-

  • Ability to interpret logic and solve
  • Ability to work physically
  • Ability to talk, write creatively
  • Ability to sketch-paint/dance/drama
  • Abilities in games
  • Specific excellence
  • Psychological interpretation ability

We should let a child know if hez gud at something a world awaits to honour his/her service.
Let's crack our available jobs and the imbalance.
There lies a million govt. Jobs vacant due to lack of skill in India. And we have a million jobless engineers . Irony.
The problem is most vacancies in govt. are in police,  schools, armed forces and rural missions. The problem is not lack of talent the problem lies in LACK OF BREEDING OF TALENT. The basic attitude of a teacher in our school is if u dont score well in science and math, u are screwed.
That's the greatest lie we teach or implant in our students. A person bad in math may be well in arts or football or farming.
Teachers have the primary duty to direct a student in the best suited direction which fits him. Not act as a words stuffing library.
How can we be remotely sensible by hoping to:-

  •  create a million engineers and no farmers.
  • Promote sports by distributing medals and books.
  • Create a job creator society by grooming workers.
  • Inspire research by Educating to reciprocate.
  • Diversify job profiles by limited entrance options.

As Modi Govt. focuses on improving quality of education, hope that he does so after diversifying study topics, giving equal credits to other abilities based on other senses. As we constantly teach our teachers to look upon ways to acknowledge a child's true ability and give them the opportunity with recognition to persue the intrest we create a nation with less unemployment, dissatisfaction, mindless competition & more of beautiful successful professionals.
Jai hind!

Thank You AMIR SIR & KIRAN MAM

The misnomer of "anti-national" may have stenched the curtains a bit but with your movie 'DANGAL' - I am overtly confident and ever-happy to see the INDIAN'ness display by you & co. The movie Dangal apart from the encouragement and social-change prowess has created a flash-understanding of Anti-India Kashmir elements. Like a reverse psychology effect, Dangal showed how Indian a 'Pakistani-favoured' 'Islamist-inspired' Kasmiri can be given A CHANCE to assert his/her INDIANness. Zaira Wasim is too young to discuss. Let's take up her mother 'Zarqa Wasim' who not far back had been currying pak-propaganda and support in her tweets. The 1st impression of such a person is usual "islamist paki traitor". But, the Fox goes where the smell of food leads. For an average Indian, 'Kashmir' maybe the flashpoint of religion - but in reality experts know Kashmir is just a dogma of human survival attitude poisoned by fear-Islam
